A great walk to start 2022 – Phil & Freda and Gareth & Anne walked the Benimaurell Ridge clockwise.   It’s a walk we’d spoken about doing again for a while, but one which had to be done on a clear day.  Conditions today were perfect with clear blue skies so the views were amazing.  It was cold but we were still able to strip off some layers as we climbed!   This is a circular 6.7km walk and the  altitude goes from around 570m at Benidoleig, up to 869m at the highest point of the ridge.  It took about 3 hours 25 minutes, but we stopped lots to take photos!

We had our coffee at Bar Tramusser in Campell and returned there for lunch.
