Phil & Freda pulled out at the last moment because Freda had a sore throat, so instead of doing the Orba – Seguili walk that had been planned Gareth & Anne did a walk from Sagra, but instead of continuing the walk to Tormos as we usually did, we tried the path towards Pego.  It was a very hot day, and the climb at the start was hard going!  The new section of path was uphill all the way!   Most of it was through forest, and without views, although there was a spectacular view at one point – but the heat haze meant it wasn’t as good as it could have been.  We decided it wasn’t worth following the path any further as the path ahead appeared to just be more forest, so we walked back down, following the route to Tormos for a short while before going back along the usual path to Sagra.  The walk was about 4.5km long, and took us 2.5 hours.

We were joined by Alan, Linda and Ian for lunch at Tramonti in Parcent.
