BEACH WALKS
These are photos from beach walks in summer 2022 and all walks are with Phil & Freda and Gareth & Anne. We decided to walk on the two best sections of beach, one starting at Camping Rio Mar and the other from Oliva Nova Golf. All walks were just over 10km in length.
Rio Mar North
24th June 2022 – Met for coffee at Camping Rio Mar, had a drink stop with very bad service at Eurocamping and had lunch at Taurino’s.
Oliva Nova Golf north
1st July 2022 – Met for coffee at Oliva Nova Golf Centro Commercial, had a clara at La Terraza on Carrer de la Mar Mediterrània and lunch at Taurino in Ondara. Lots of clouds today and some rain forecast, but luckily it stayed dry.
Rio Mar North
8th July 2022 – Met for coffee at Camping Rio Mar, had a clara stop at Camping Azul and (after a long drive back to Denia!) lunch at Sala Thai.
Oliva Nova Golf North
15th July 2022 – Met for coffee at Oliva Nova Golf Centro Commercial, had a clara at La Terraza on Carrer de la Mar Mediterrània and lunch at Pizzeria Capriccio Gallego in Els Poblets.
Rio Mar North
29th July 2022 – After a week off, back to the Rio Mar North walk again. Met for coffee at Camping Rio Mar, had a clara stop at Camping Azul and lunch at Taurino. Another really hot day.
Oliva Nova Golf North
5th August 2022 – Met for coffee at Oliva Nova Golf Centro Commercial, had a clara at La Terraza on Carrer de la Mar Mediterrània and lunch at Pizzeria Capriccio Gallego in Els Poblets. Beach was busy today!
Rio Mar North
10th August 2022 – Walked on Wednesday this week as we couldn’t do Friday. Met for coffee at Camping Rio Mar, a drink stop at Bar Azul and lunch at Taurino’s. The beach was really busy today!
Oliva Nova Golf North
19th August 2022 – Happy Birthday to Phil! Met for coffee at Oliva Nova Golf Centro Commercial, had a clara at La Terraza on Carrer de la Mar Mediterrània and lunch at Pizzeria Capriccio Gallego in Els Poblets. A snake on the beach today – makes a change from jellyfish!
Rio Mar North
26th August – Met for coffee at Camping Rio Mar, had a clara stop at Camping Azul and lunch at Taurino where we were joined by Anne’s Dad Ian.
Oliva Nova Golf North
1st September – Walking on Thursday this week as we were having lunch at Attico on Friday as Sandra & Tony are here. Met for coffee at Oliva Nova Golf Centro Commercial and had a clara at La Terraza on Carrer de la Mar Mediterrània.
