Although it was still a bit warm for a normal hill walk, we wanted to something more than a straightforward beach walk, so Gareth & Anne walked from Altea to Albir lighthouse.  It’s an easy walk, on the flat at first with a slight climb up the winding path to the lighthouse.  It’s an enjoyable walk with some lovely views.   The walk took about 2½ hours and was around  11km and the weather was warm but quite cloudy

We had a coffee at Tsunami Cafe on the beach in Altea, stopped on the way back for a clara at Goa Bar on the seafront on the road between Albir and Altea, and had a very nice lunch at Rosa’s Cafe in Altea.
