An easy, mostly flat 9k walk from Alcalà de la Jovada to airstrip & Nevera Baix walk with Klaas, Phil & Freda and Gareth & Anne.

We met for coffee at Bar Pepa and had lunch at Bar Vicent de la Tona.   The paella was delicious – the best we’ve had in a while.  Also had salad to start and desserts which were disappointing (moussey-type tarta de tres chocolates and turron ice-cream in plastic cartons).  Gareth hated the wine but Phil & Klaas were quite happy to have it to themselves!!

Note: We decided to do this walk as it was Good Friday and we thought it would be quiet.  The walk itself was quiet (apart from some motorcycles and cars!) but the village was absolutely packed and so different from usual.  It seemed that everyone had decided to take a day trip to Alcalà de la Jovada to celebrate easter!
