First walk of 2026, and the first climb in a while, Phil, Gareth & Anne did the amended version of the Benidoleig walk which we did back in May, going up (and up!) through the urbanisation before joining up with our usual path.

The walk was 7.8 kms, and took around 2 hours 45 minutes. It was a chilly morning and quite overcast, but pleasant for a walk and the climb warmed us up.  We had a coffee at Bar Ballesta with Freda before the walk and returned there for lunch.
