Benimeli to Mirador de Segaria circular walk with Phil & Freda and Gareth & Anne.

Met for coffee at Ca’l Liki  in Benimeli.  We started the walk at 10.20am and reached the top (just before the masts) at 11.22am.  We were back in the square in Benemeli by 1pm which makes it a record timing for that walk of just 2 hrs 40mins – usually takes 3 hrs!  As we were out of practice as we hadn’t done a climb in weeks due to the bad weather, we certainly hadn’t expected to do it so quickly.

The weather was overcast but warm.  There were some wet, muddy patches on the flat area just before the final climb up to the masts, but most of the path was in good condition.

After a well deserved beer/clara at Ca’l Liki, we had lunch at Taurino’s in Ondara and a carajillo quemado at Raco de Ondara, where we decided that their carajillo is still No 1!!
