Phil introduced us to a longer variation of our usual Tormos to Isbert’s Dam walk. This walk went from Tormos to Fontilles, to Campell and then back down to Tormos again. Klaas was walking with us for the first time in a few weeks, but he only did part of the walk, as he left us to go back through the tunnel to take the shorter route back via the dam, while we climbed up the steep path to the left.
It was a cloudy day, but the temperature was ideal. There were lots of wild mushrooms along the way. The path down from Campell was quite muddy after all the rain we’ve had recently. The walk was just under 12km long and took 3hrs 40 mins.
We met for coffee at Bar Tormos and had lunch at El Quijote in Orba where we were joined by Alan & Linda and Mike.
