Benirrama to Miserat and castle walk with Phil & Freda and Gareth & Anne.<\/p>\n
A fantastic walk to start 2021.\u00a0 Although we have done the Benirrama to castle walk several times, Phil introduced us to the longer version with a climb up to the masts at Miserat.\u00a0 It was well worth the extra climb for absolutely fantastic 360 degree views that really can’t be captured on photo.\u00a0 The hot coffee, sausage rolls and quiche at the top were very welcome – particularly the coffee as we’d planned to have a cup at Bar Roca before starting the walk, but the owner told us he’d set tables for breakfast\/almuerzo so if we just wanted coffee we’d have to sit outside!!\u00a0 As can be seen from the photos below, it was a very cold day with hats, gloves and many layers of clothing a necessity.\u00a0 It was just 3 degrees when we started in Benirrama just after 9.30am, but it was sunny and clear – so clear that we could see Ibiza again.<\/p>\n
