We all did the new walk from the Piscina Pizzeria car park in Orba, through La Plana urbanisation and onto the hiking path towards Tormos, leading eventually to the path which goes up to Font Centella.\u00a0 Last time Gareth & Anne did the walk it was a bit overcast and quite cool.\u00a0 Bright blue skies today made for clearer views, but it proved to be extremely hot, specially on the climb!\u00a0 Because of this, we didn’t go the whole way to the Font, although Gareth & Phil went a bit further than Freda & Anne, up to the finger post at the top, where the path offers the choice of the two fonts.<\/p>\n
We followed the path towards Tormos like last time, but crossed the river at an earlier point which we’d noticed from before.\u00a0 This cut the walk to 6.88km and just under 3 hours. <\/p>\n
We had coffee at Gareth & Anne’s before the walk, lunch at the Piscina Pizzeria in Orba, and a carajillo cremaet at Bar Ballesta in Benidoleig.<\/p>\n
