We hadn’t done the Benimeli to Mirador de Segaria walk since March ’23 as the route has been closed for a while, first because of the terrible fire in November ’23 and then because the path was blocked due to construction work they were doing at the start of the route.\u00a0 It was good to do it again and we enjoyed the climb and great views. \u00a0 It was sad to see the huge number of trees that were burnt black from the fire.\u00a0 The walk took 2hrs 38 minutes, close to our record time of 2hrs 31 minutes.\u00a0<\/p>\n
We had coffee before the walk inside Ca’l Liki and the cold start to the day meant we were well wrapped up at the beginning of the walk.\u00a0 However, by the time we were back there for beers after the walk we were able to sit outside in the sun.\u00a0 We had lunch at Bar Ballesta in Beniarbeig.<\/p>\n
